I have an issue with my toilet downstairs thought it was the toilet replaced it but it’s still acting up. It does the slow drain it fills the bowl all the way up then slowly draines back down very aggravating I had a plumber come out and snake it and he couldn’t find any issues and check the vent at the top of the house and still nothing

Former NY super here. All my brownstone buildings were pre 1900. Hence, old pipes. Some cast iron, ok?? I would repeatedly tell new tenants: 1) no flushable cat litter, 2) no tampons, or flushable kotex, and 3) no baby wipes. My drains were relatively clean and ran smoothly. I know these monster clogs can happen. People don't want to touch human waste, so hot towels are not practical and disposable wipes make sense health/germ wise. But toss them in and flush them and ....multiply that over a period of time...oops...

Good video, but im a bit puzzled. You're supposed to be Mr. Rooter, but you say at the end you'll see if they want to dig it up or wait till the next back up happens. I highly encourage you to get some training in Texas at the head office. A top notch Mr. Rooter franchise would have an underground crew. You get the sales rep/manager from underground to sale a dig. A good franchise should give you a bonus fee for the cost of the dig sold to the customer. Next thing you'd learn in training in Texas is you don't place your pipe wrench on the customers appliance, you put a Mr. Rooter mat down, over the appliance. Next thing they will teach you in training is to upsell the custome on those washing machine supply hoses to brsided stainless steel. You tell the customer how the regular ones that they have now can bubble up over time and burst. It's all about service and upselling. Those add on sales turn into a bigger pay check.
